Short-term counseling

In State Employees: The Faculty Staff Help Center offers Short-term help for many issues that are impacting people, including job-related, relationship, parent-child, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, addiction, retirement, and other issues.  The first session is an assessment and the benefit is for up to 10 sessions.

Out-of-State Employees: Stanford-benefited employees who are located outside of the state of California are not eligible for counseling at the Help Center. Instead, they may access this dedicated out-of-state Employee Assistance Program.

Individual and/or Department Consultation

Individuals and work groups may request services including training, team effectiveness support, and coaching and workshops to help develop performance and workplace well-being skills. Coaching and consultation also supports requests for facilitated conversations, and facilitated meetings.
