Coaching for Emotional Intelligence - Four Session Package

Main content start

While people generally function on both rational and emotional levels, emotions are often what drives our energy, commitment and motivation. Feelings are also fundamental in our reactions to others and situations that we encounter. We typically are able to respond well in situations and conversations that are not too challenging, but when we get triggered (or someone else does) things can go downhill quickly. The more we understand and manage our emotional responses, the more we enjoy greater comfort in relationships, effectiveness in interactions and peace within our environments. Success in the workplace often has much to do with issues of Relational Competency, commonly referred to as Emotional Intelligence.

Using a Validated Emotional Intelligence tool called EQ-I 2.0, your coach will work with you to understand your strengths and areas of growth with regard to: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Social Skills. In this four-session package you will focus with your coach on skills that can improve areas that will help with growth at work and in life.

Rosan Gomperts, LCSW is the Director of the Faculty Staff Help Center. She is certified in using the Emotional Intelligence tool EQ-I 2.0 as well as having 20 plus years as a clinician with specialized training in communication, facilitation and teaching Emotional Intelligence. While the coaching is no cost, the cost of the EQI-2.0 Tool costs $75.
