Grief and Bereavement Group
This group is for any faculty or staff member, or post doc who has concerns regarding the loss of a family member, co-worker, or friend. The discussions will focus on the interests and concerns of group members. Topics will include:
Typical reactions to grief
- The process of grieving & steps to help the recovery
- Grief and special occasions
- Helping children deal with grief
- Difficult deaths: sudden, accident, suicide, crime
- Impact on the family
